There are different ways of doing this; it depends on your hair type, thickness and length which is the best. You might be able to simply comb/brush your hair after you wash it and either use a hair dryer or let it dry naturally to leave your hair straighter. Obviously, this doesn't work for people with naturally curly hair lol. You could iron your hair (not recommended!). You could use straighteners. This is generally the most popular option. There are lots of models on the market, usually varying from £15 to £100, and obviously the more expensive they are the better they are. Try to go for ones with ceramic plates, as they will usually take less time to heat up (a few seconds as opposed to 20 minutes) and get hotter. I would also recommend asking your hairdresser what sort to recommend, especially if you have your hair straightened in the salon and the ones they use work well for you. Remember that straightening your hair can result in lots of split ends, and if you do it every day, you will need to have an inch or so off the bottom of your hair on a regular basis.
