Typical Scammer

I will use an example of a typcial scam to tell you about the typical characteristics of a scammer.

Make Thousands of NP in Less Than 2 Months!
Starts off with something designed to catch the reader's attention - everyone wants more NP.
I had no idea that making money could be so simple. This really works and this is NOT A SCAM!
This is your first clue. 99% of the time you can bet that if someone says it's not a scam, it IS.
I have been scammed before and believe me, it isn't fun.
Hmmm...trying to idenitfy with the reader who may/may not have been scammed before - and also makes us pity him/her.
If you would like to know the secret to making thousands of Neopoints quickly and easily, make me one of your Neo friends and send me any one of the following: a Codestone (any), a Faerie (any), a Map Piece (any), or a Paint Brush...
Yep, it has to come at a cost of course. You always need to spot where the scammer makes something out of it.
Once I receive one of these items from you I will send you the secret ASAP(As Soon As Possible, but please be prepared to wait I am not on Neopets 24/7...believe me it will be worth the wait). *Guarantee* I guarantee the following: You have my promise that this is not a scam.
It's definitely a scam, certain ideas are repeated throughout to get the message into the reader's head - that it's 'not' a scam and that you 'will' earn lots of NP.
I will send you the secret once I receive your item. I don't blame you if you have doubts. This may sound too good to be true but I wouldn't go through the trouble if I didn't want to help you out. I bet you're asking why I just can't tell you the secret. Well, I want to help you but I'd like to help myself too and think of it this way: If you send me one of those items, you will be able to buy as many as you like once you have the secret.
That part doesn't add up - if the secret means you can get as many NP as to buy anything you want, then why does the scammer want anything from you - surely if he/she knows the 'secret', they can buy anything they want too?!
I don't like to be scammed and so I WON'T SCAM.
Just repeating crap we've already heard before.

So at first glance, it can look very believable - but it's not! Don't fall for it or anything similar or you can say bye bye to your account! Here's some traits of scammers:

They explain everything, or try to.
They usually say, 'I'm not a scammer, I hate scammers, I've been scammed before.'
They constantly repeat what they've already said.
They always want something valuable from you.
