Starting a new family

Most people prefer to create their own family instead of using one of the pre-made ones. I would suggest starting off with 2 adult Sims, to make life easier. You can always have babies/children later on.

You want your Sims to wear clothes that you like. It might be funny to start off with crazy, horrible clothes but they will soon being to piss you off- trust me!

Don't write a Bio. unless you can be bothered, and get onto the personality. It's important that your Sim is fairly nice. They also have to be quite neat and tidy so their place isn't a tip. It's a good idea to make them pretty active so they get up in the morning. However, active Sims prefer to play volleyball or swim rather than sit and watch TV, which is annoying if their comfort levels get too low. Playfulness isn't really that important I've found.

At first, money will be limited so you can't move into the big house. Once you've created lots of money, you can move out.
