Thanks Jessica and Jenny! My tutorial is kinda a combination of both but (hopefully) easier to follow and with a complete set of cute matching smilies :) 1. Download and unzip the smilies. 2. Log into your FTP and create a folder called 'Emoticons'. Next, upload all the smilie images into that folder you just created in Binary mode. 3. If you're using WS_FTP, open your gm-library.cgi. If you're using a different kind of FTP, open up your gm-library in Notepad or something, then save and re-upload. You might not need to use the gm-library.cgi file included in the zip file. 4. Now click here and look for the first bit of code written in BLUE. Underneath it, you need to paste the following code (shown in RED on the link you've just clicked) into your gm-library.cgi file: 5. Click here again and find the second bit of code shown in BLUE. After it, paste the following code into your gm-library page (shown in RED on the link you just clicked): 6. Log into your GM (it should be something like http://your-site.com/greymatter/gm.cgi) and go to Edit Templates > Edit Karma & Comments-Related Templates. Scroll down to the {{entrycommentsform}} Posting Form and replace ALL the code in that box with the following: 6. Save the page and rebuild all files. Now your GM smilies should work just fine! Here's a little guide as to what to type to get each smilie: :determined: ![]() ![]() :annoyed: ![]() :artistic: ![]() :blah: ![]() :blank: ![]() :bouncy: ![]() ![]() :discontent: ![]() :devious: ![]() :dirty: ![]() ![]() :enraged: ![]() :P ![]() :geeky: ![]() :D ![]() :high: ![]() :hot: ![]() :hyper: ![]() :jealous: ![]() :moody: ![]() :okay: ![]() :( ![]() ![]() :silly: ![]() :) ![]() :stressed: ![]() :surprised: ![]() :thoughtful: ![]() :tired: ![]() :weird: ![]() ;) ![]() :working: ![]() :worried:
