Block people from entering your site...if you have their IP! What's an IP? It's a pretty long number that is different for everyone and depends on the server you use...e.g. AOL, BT, whatever. People can track your Internet activities through this. Some people keep the same one all the time, but with big companies like AOL, you have a different one every time you sign in. You might want to block an IP from your site if the person keeps flaming you or it's someone you don't want visiting your site. 1. Open up a new, blank document and type in: 2. Change the 0s to the actual IP of the person. 3. Save the file as .htaccess. If you already have a .htaccess file, then just copy and paste the code above, and paste it into the bottom of your existing .htaccess file and it should work *crosses fingers* ;) Back | Forward Advertised |
