1. This is a great site to use if you don't have a graphic program. It's all free and there's nothing to download :) 2. Open up your .gif image here. To do this, click File > File open in the drop down grey menu towards the top of the site. Choose your image, then select 'Upload Image'. It has to be a .gif or it won't work. 3. You should have something a bit like this: 
4. Click Edit > Add transparency, and then click the BACKGROUND of your image when the pop up window appears. 5. Wait for the page to reload. 6. Your image should now be transparent! 7. Right-click the image and press 'Save as' :)
