This is a really nice feature new to PSP 8, which is great if you're really bad at removing backgrounds from images like I am! 1. Find the Eraser tool on the left hand side menu. Don't click that, click the arrow next to it and select 'Background Eraser'.  2. Change the 'Size' to about '70' and the 'Hardness' to '5'. 3. Click and drag over a small part of the background. Then let go, and totally go over the background. Don't worry about keeping to the edges, in theory if you go onto the person themself, they won't erase like they did with the normal eraser!
