1. Open up a new image in PS, and add some text to it by clicking the text tool (it looks like a 'T'). Make sure the text is in it's own layer, if you're using more than one on your image. Also try and make your font big and chunky :) ![]() 2. Then open up the picture you're gonna use in the background. It can be a photo, a background, whatever. Go to your Layer Palette, it should be near the bottom right hand corner of your screen. Press 'Ctrl' and hold down until you've clicked the layer with the text. This will make a dotted line appear round the edge. Make a new layer: Layer > New > Layer. ![]() 3. Go back to your background image and copy it, then go back to your text, make sure you're on the new layer you just created and paste into (press 'Ctrl', 'Shift' and 'V') ![]() Note: If your text comes out with rough edges, make a copy of the layer, go to 'Gaussian Blur', change it to 4.0, and then change the layer's opacity to about 60%.
