44. Ok so you have the basics, but let's face it, the white background is pretty plain and boring. Find a background you want to use for your site. Remember to give credit. I've chosen a background from Layoutland. 45. Upload the image. The code for setting a background is this (insert anywhere between the BODY tags on every single page): 46. Remember to edit the '/your-username/your-background.gif' to the actual URL of your image and if you put it in a folder, include that in the filepath. 47. Now save your page. You might notice that your background moves as you scroll down the page. If you don't want that, delete the code you put in from step 45, and insert this instead (remember to change the image URL): 48. Click here to see what mine looks like. 49. To make your site more interactive, you will want a guestbook and a counter. Place the code for a guestbook in the left.html page and on the index.htm page, include your counter. These are very simple to use, just click here and sign up, then follow the instructions. There are lots of other tools you can add to your site as well :) 50. Congratulations! You have a website!
