16. So now you want to brighten up your page using a few images. Firstly, go to the 'Site Manager' and click 'Upload a File'. Now click the 'Browse' button and find the image you want to upload. This will usually be a file ending in .bmp, .gif, .jpg, .jpeg or .png. Dont' worry if you're not sure about this, as long as you know the file is an image. Double click it, or click 'Open' to have the picture path displayed. In the drop down menu above, choose which folder you want the picture to go in. The jenbaby.gif is the actual filename, which you will know because it shows up in your directory (see the image for step 11). This is what my coding looks like: ![]() 21. Once you've altered the code so that it fits your image, go to File > Save. Once you get the message to tell you that the file has been saved, close the window and go back to the 'Site Manager'. 22. Now click the link to the page you just added the photo to (mine's 'biography.html') and check that your image shows up. If it doesn't, you probably didn't type the filepath correctly (see step 20), or you didn't upload the image. This is mine: ![]() To carry on with this set of tutorials, click here.
