Topic Of The MonthThis month's topic is: Reality TV: Pop Idol, Big Brother, Survivor etc. etc. - love it or hate it? And why? Submit below :)Note: I read all submissions even if I don't put them up. Email: lauraj_66@hotmail.com Opinion: I don't hate them, but I can never be bothered wasting my life obsessively watching them like all my friends do. They were fun at first, but after a few years they are repetitive and not worth my time. The internet is much more fun ;) Although that Bad Lads Army looks interesting...I guess they have to have a certain twist. Overall though, I tend not to watch them. Mainly because theres nothing fake about it its just real and I love how they always put twists in it, it just makes it way funner to watch! :) I just love shows like The Simple Life, MADE, all those dating shows are also fun to watch, and that kinda stuff. There ARE some good shows on though, but only for when i'm really board, or when my sister isn't up yet! lol I watch TV when theres Midevil stuff on. Yes, they are interesting to watch, but after a while it gets pathetic how many they do. Plus, the people who go on them are going to humiliate themselves so much - not so good when they're back to reality. Reality TV has been interesting but it's run it's course and needs to be ditched. But sometimes they get very annoying and way out of control. Most of the people on the shows are very obnoxious, and rude, which just adds to the annoyingness... (is that a word? lol) And some of them are just WAY out there... like the one where the country votes on who you should marry!! I mean come on, are the people making the reality shows soooo desperate that they would go that far? And some of them are just plain stupid! Like, My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiancee. What was the point in that? I guess it's just because there are so many of them right now that they are getting on my nerves, but I guess in a year or two. To be American Idol isnt really a "reality" tv show. I dont know what to call it excatlyl...but reality tv shows are getting stupid...The Casino..how unreal can you get?? All those dating shows...com'on now!! The reason? It's nowhere near reality! Everything is thought and made up to look good or to make money. There's no point in filming 24/7 a normal person who doesn't do anything interesting right? So when they make fake 'plots' it attracts people. The best example: The Simple Life. Do you really think Paris and Nicole are like that? Of course not!
